Hosted Event: Shrimp & Grits with Julia Tatum of Delta Grind Grits
and Half-Mile Farm Executive Chef Jason Tardo

Saturday, March 22, 2025 March 22, 2025 Old Edwards Hospitality Group
Julia Tatum of Delta Grind Grits and Half-Mile Farm Chef Jason Tardo will present a Shrimp & Grits experience from 4 - 5 pm, and you can continue enjoying Julia's company during social hour afterwards.
Born and raised in Oxford, Mississippi where generational roots run deep, Julia's love of all things reminiscent of "home" was sparked by visits to her grandmother's national landmark home, Ammadelle. From family meals and heirlooms shared, to architectural endeavors, her family left its mark on Oxford.
After receiving a Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in graphic design from the University of Mississippi in 2014, Julia went on to purchase Delta Grind, a family-owned business, in 2016. Her creative spirit finds immense satisfaction in watching something hand-crafted turn into a beautiful final product - no matter the medium.
Since taking over Delta Grind, Julia has successfully reshaped the business model and continues to grow the company with the construction of a new commercial facility. You will find Julia and her grits featured in magazines such as Garden & Gun and Southern Living. Today, Julia and her husband, Mac, reside in Lake Toxaway, North Carolina, with their two Great Danes, Grace and George, and Blue Heeler, Gus.
