Half-Mile Farm is pleased to celebrate the season of love February 14-16 once again with the popular Atlanta Chef Kevin Ouzts of The Spotted Trotter Charcuterie and Dodds Delzell of Sangiacomo Family Wines. Guests will be treated to a boutique charcuterie experience with a special tasting and hosted Social Hour including complimentary hors d’oeuvres. Breakfast each day will feature The Spotted Trotter’s delicious products.

Weekend Events:

  • Social Hour Friday and Saturday from 5 - 6 pm Featuring boutique batched charcuterie from The Spotted Trotter and wine tastings from Sangiacomo Family Wines, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and live music from 5 - 8 pm. Craft beverages available from J. Henry Farmhouse Tavern.
  • Breakfast Saturday & Sunday from 7:30 - 10 am prepared by Half-Mile Farm Chef Jason Tardo, featuring The Spotted Trotter’s fresh and cured meats.
  • Charcuterie Tasting and Demo Saturday from 4 - 5 pm Charcuterie 101 with Chef Kevin and Wine Pairings with Dodds in the Woodland View Room.

ABOUT THE SPOTTED TROTTER
A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Chef Kevin cut his chops under Chef Linton Hopkins at the James Beard award-winning Restaurant Eugene in Atlanta. He also spent time in Northern California working at both the Fatted Calf and the French Laundry. He launched The Spotted Trotter in 2009 as a labor of love concentrating on “Making Good Food The Right Way'' by prioritizing the use of humanely-sourced proteins and sustainable ingredients from in and around the Southeast.
 
At The Spotted Trotter, Chef Kevin and his team produce some of the finest New American Charcuterie in the country which includes Southern-inspired salami made with black pepper and sorghum, toasted peanut, cayenne, pecan and Mayhaw. They also create fresh sausages, crepinettes, pates, and rillettes – all are instantly recognizable because of Chef Kevin’s mantra of focusing on the “details” in good meat and making it the right way. The Spotted Trotter boutique batched charcuterie and meats are distributed throughout all 50 states as well as on Delta First Class flights to Europe, Tech's Bobby Dodd Stadium, Mercedes Benz Stadium, Miami Dolphins Stadium, Carolina Panthers Stadium, W. Hotel Group, The Ritz Carlton and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Groups, as well as fine retail
establishments nationwide.
