Good Morning Amanda - I will never be able to fully express my gratitude to you and the Old Edwards team for the outstanding, exceptional evening. The service was absolutely impeccable - not one thing was out of order.

From the guests comments and feedback that we are receiving - everyone was literally 'blown away' by the whole evening.  The Food was outstanding...kudos to Chef and his team.  Those dishes are not easy to serve in that volume not to mention the complexities of the allergy issues.

Old Edwards is in a league of their own. All of our guests were stunned by the beautiful location and the professionalism of the staff throughout the evening. Sarah Brown was our main point of contact and she was so knowledgeable, helpful and incredibly kind. Sarah went above and beyond to make sure my wedding vision came to life and made sure our guests were having the time of their lives! I could not have asked for anything more. Fairy Tale Elopement

My new bride and I just experienced what can only be described as a fairy tale wedding. We took a chance and purchased the elopement package at Old Edwards Inn and Spa this past weekend. From the second we contacted Madison (only about 6 weeks ago to make all this happen), she went above and beyond for us - which we expect she does for everyone. She took care of the details on her end and stayed in constant communication with us. She even scheduled a call so that we could all talk to make sure she gave us everything we wanted. When we arrived and checked in, we were greeted with such a warm experience from everyone we came in contact with. Not only are the rooms so cozy and classy, but the spa is one of the best I've ever been to. I can't say enough about what a truly special and amazing experience this was for us - and we have Madison K. to thank for that. She is a true asset to Old Edwards Inn and Spa.

Everything was so close. Take some time and walk the town. You won't regret it.

The food was spectacular. Of course, it was a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. Everything was top notch from room service to our wedding dinner at Madison's.

This time of year, Highlands is decorated to the hilt for Christmas. From the second we drove up to the main road and saw the lights, we were instantly infected with the Christmas spirit. The setting of Old Edwards in the town is so quaint and accessible to many very nice restaurants, a cute coffee shop, small unique stores, etc.

It truly was the team at Old Edwards Inn who are just extraordinary. Our guests came from all over the world, many to see NC for the first time, and said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. It’s easy to fall in love with the people and place.. the kindest, hardest working and most hospitable people who made this weekend so special for us. Thank you, thank you!

Cherish the memories!!

Carl, Tricia, Drew, and I all join in thankfulness for you and your wonderful Old Edward’s team!!!  Both nights were absolutely lovely, and thankfully the cooperative weather Friday night (with rain at just the right moment!) and the gorgeous weather on Saturday helped to make a weekend that we all will remember for years to come. The rehearsal dinner meal was so nice and a great complement to the options for Saturday evening. The hit of the entrees was the seafood station but honestly, every bite of the appetizer, beef and chicken station, and dessert bar was delicious.  

We also feel so blessed that we were able to enjoy the breakfast with our guests and then the Farmhouse,  the grounds, and the Orchard given the lovely day. The luncheon was a hit and so nice to be on the property and just wander out for the pictures. And as always, our stay in the Inn helped us rest well for the busy weekend ahead. 

We will cherish the memories!! Thank you for your calm and steady guidance along with all the many details you helped us address.

Jessica, Our Old Edward’s experience has been nothing short of amazing and for that, I am extremely grateful to you and your staff. Our two-year journey with your team was quite fun. Your brand is authentic. While I received many wonderful comments from family and friends that spanned the entire wedding weekend, my single most vivid memory will be the sincere warm glow in the in the faces of Lauren & Byrne as they shared their love with all of us. What a magical night

WOW! Old Edwards always blows me away but even our guests could not stop talking about how not only was the venue (The Farm at Old Edwards) STUNNING (even though we had to use the backup indoor space due to rain) the staff/service was INCREDIBLE! Cannot say enough about what a magical night it was. Old Edwards once again blew me away, I look forward to returning there for many many years to come.

I had zero worries

We selected Old Edwards for our destination wedding without first visiting and it was the best decision we made. OEI assigns you a designated planner from their team who works closely with you and your outside planner to bring your vision to life! They have EVERYTHING you could need - vendor lists, timelines, etc. and they can help shepherd you through the process. These people are EXPERTS - it is clear that they are not only professional, but they also care a lot about their couples. Through the planning process to the day of, we were so thankful to have these personal touches. On the day of, the OEI team executed everything perfectly - I had zero worries because I knew they were overseeing it all. The venues are beautiful, the food is absolutely amazing (so many people said the best of any wedding), the staff is attentive and kind, and they think of everything! As the couple, they make you feel like royalty throughout the process. I would recommend working with Gabby, if she is available! I would also recommend taking time to do a walkthrough in person before deciding on the little details, like rentals. This place is amazing, take every chance you can to spend time there!

Dear Gabby, we want to take this opportunity to thank you and the Old Edwards Inn Hospitality Group for creating the perfect wedding experience for our daughter, Jessica, and her fiancé, now husband Bruce.

Throughout the entire wedding planning process, from meeting with you, Chef Chris and Chef Daniel, and including your discerning sommelier - the OEI team created for us the most delicious culinary dining experience. Additionally, regarding the impeccable service before, during and after our event, and the beautiful lodging accommodations, our friends and family were treated to the celebration of a lifetime.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was superlative. From the bacon-wrapped quail to the southern seafood station, our guests were dazzled by your culinary artists preparing sautéed scallops and exactly carving perfectly grilled bone-in ribeye. Additionally, at the reception, our friends and family remarked that their every need was immediately attended to. The bartenders, food servers and food preparation specialists took care of our guests with the utmost responsiveness and care.

The lodging accommodations at The Inn, 200 Main and Fairview House were beautifully decorated and well-appointed. Needless to say, the farmhouse at The Farm served as the absolutely perfect spot for the bride and her bridesmaids to gather, reminisce and get ready for the big event - the salon was awesome!

In conclusion, words cannot express how grateful we are for such wonderful service. Jessica's wedding day, in our minds, was positively perfect and Gary and I can't thank you enough for helping us provide the most special celebration for our daughter's nuptials. We will continue to rave about the wedding experience at Old Edwards Inn, and we hope to one day hold another event at The Farm at OEI.

We are still on cloud nine

from our magical weekend in Highlands. Elizabeth and Cole are still honeymooning in Thailand and having the adventure of a lifetime after having a wedding for the books. We have received so many compliments from our guests regarding the food, the accommodations, and the beautiful setting. I am so glad we chose Old Edwards. I know we had a rain delay, but really everything was flawless, or at least it appeared that way! Thank you for all of your hard work for the past year. My compliments to the entire staff and especially Chef Chris! Amazing job!

Magical!

We planned a small winter wedding at The Barn, and it exceeded our expectations. Every detail was attended to, the food was excellent, and the events team was phenomenal. Also, I didn't have to worry about hiring a bunch of vendors other than the photographer, band, and florist. OEI took care of all the equipment, tables/chairs, etc....they even have a pastry chef that did our cake. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing!

location, staff, and experience for the bride, groom, and guests. The town is quaint and the property is enchanting and feels like a true getaway as you make the picturesque trek up the mountain to the property. The staff was top notch and the food will have your guests salivating for months after. Everything was beyond perfect for our big day. We can't wait to return for another trip!

First of all I want to commend your staff for all of your hard work. Everyone from the servers to the grounds crew to the delivery people were wonderful.

Sarah Brown was exceptional and seemed very genuine and caring to make the wedding extraordinary. All of our friends have commented that it was one of the best weddings to which they’ve ever been. I have to say I think it was too.

Once again you guys gave us her dream wedding and the whole day was so special. I know how hard you must work and I just wanted to personally thank you and your staff for all of the hard work and for making it such a joyous beautiful day.

Exceeding expectations

Melissa, I wanted to reach out and once again congratulate your team on a job well done!! In spite of freezing cold temperatures along with snow and ice, your team exceeds expectations on every level.

Emma and Hannah and their staff ran both events flawlessly. Emma constantly amazes me with her efficiency and her attitude. She is always smiling and happy and it is such a pleasure to be around her that it doesn't even seem like work.

Chef over-delivered on the food for both the Rehearsal Dinner and the Wedding Reception.  

Casey successfully wore many hats from shoveling ice at The Farm to making sure the bars at the Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party were set to perfection and no detail was missed.

Sarah went above and beyond and was so amazing to work with and made [everyone] feel welcome and taken care of their entire stay. 

Staffing shortages and supply chain issues have plagued many vendors I work with and they always use it as an excuse for missing the mark. Old Edwards' staff uses those same issues as a chance to rise above circumstance and exceed expectations on every level.

Please pass this along to Mr. Delany and the entire staff so they know that we all noticed their hard work and dedication to service.

Wow! Old Edwards does it again!

At every touchpoint, the OEI team impressed us. I worked with Kyle and Laura Wilkie in the planning process. Laura had great attention to detail, quick replies to emails/calls, and was a joy to communicate with leading up to the event. Kyle was my partner in creating innovative solutions to still have an exquisite event during COVID. We spent months communicating and pivoting when needed. There was laughter (and tears); He was a joy to work with and the events were absolutely splendid! On-site the Half-Mile Farm, Banquets, Culinary, and Housekeeping teams exceeded our every expectation! Laura, Chris, and Alister took such great care of my team and all the guests. The banquets team was first class- every single one of them deserves a special shoutout! That team was incredibly helpful, easy to work with, and (literally) weather the crazy storm like seasoned pros. Banquets at OEI is truly some of the best in the biz! Culinary hit it out of the park at every turn. Four events and breakfast every day and still every meal was just as delicious as the last!! Housekeeping managed the tight turns with a smile on their face and didn't miss a beat. Per usual- OEI provided a first-class guest experience and exceeded our every expectation at every possible team. BRAVO!!!! We can't wait to be back again soon!
