Cool Fun in Highlands
Highlands is a place with an abundance of unique things to do—even in winter. From arts and culture, outdoor recreation, world-class musicians, workshops, and lectures, to indulging in the wonderful culinary scene, there is always a wide variety of events to capture the interest of any visitor or resident of Highlands, North Carolina. A great example is the annual SnowFest @4118 event on January 27 and 28, 2024, sponsored by the Highlands Chamber of Commerce. Local children and visitors alike gather in the Kelsey Hutchinson Founders Park to frolic in the snow, throw snowballs, take a ride on a snow-tube carousel, and more!
